The last week begins

Thanks so much to everyone who came to the benefit concert last week! It was a fantastic experience for all of us, as usual, and we hope you enjoyed it too.

It’s been a busy few days around here as we head towards the final stretch of camp. Sunday was a relaxing day as we got some much needed rest after the trip to Yellow Springs and then went to Wheeling Park, a local water park. We had the camper planned dance last night, whose theme this year was “under the sea.” (As usual, campers and staff alike had some very creative costume interpretations of this theme, including several jellyfish and a piece of flotsam.) Tonight was the final staff recital, and then the rest of the programs this week (until the final recitals begin Friday night) are focused on the musical theater production Oliver! There are a lot of performances to look forward to, and a lot of  important time for campers to be together with their friends, before the week is out.
